Hand washing cashmere will actually make it softer over time. Be sure to use a little baby shampoo or a mild detergent.

Squeeze gently, do not twist or wring - twisting wet cashmere can seriously distort the shape. Dry the sweater on a flat towel, away from direct heat and sunlight.

Press with damp cloth, using a cool iron, iron from the inside of the garment before folding to store. Avoiding hanging CocoonU sweaters as this could cause distortion around the shoulders.

To avoid a line running down the middle your sweater, fold each side of the sweater inward by a third. Smooth the arms down, and fold in half, before placing in the supplied CocoonU protective cover.

Try to avoid wearing the garment next to rough clothing, metal necklaces, bracelets, belts and rough leather.
