The Company began just over 2 years ago selling exquisite cashmere sourced under ethical principles from Outer Mongolia.  The on-line business is based in Harrogate although most clients have so far been in London.

Managing Director, Vanessa Streeton, wanted a northern presence where customers can see and feel the beauty and softness of cashmere which is unrivalled in its quality and design.  The cashmere pieces include exquisite, stylish accessories and knitwear for men and women and an exclusive interiors range.

CocoonU has also expanded its luxury ethical collection and now offers organic, hand-made bath and body products and beautiful fair trade jewellery.

Directions from Leeds, Wetherby and Harrogate:

Take the A59 Skipton Road out of Harrogate and continue in the direction of Skipton. Shortly after leaving Harrogate, you will come to a roundabout with the Travellers Rest Pub on the left. Continue straight across. Half a mile past this roundabout take the first turning on the right, signposted Hampsthwaite. (If you miss this turning continue another mile and there is a right turn signposted to Birstwith.)

Continue following signs to Birstwith and after approx. 3 miles you will come to Clapham Green. Immediately after passing a group of houses on the left, and where the road bends right, take a left turn and follow the road round to the right. Shortly you will come to a split in the road and stay to the right. At the T-junction you will see the drive to Swarcliffe Hall (Belmont Grosvenor School) in front of you.

Directions From Ripon:

At the Ripley roundabout take the 3rd exit signposted Pateley Bridge.

Continue on this road until you come to the New Inn pub on your right. Opposite that take a left turn signposted Birstwith.

Follow that road for approx 1.5 miles and you will go through Birstwith village and eventually come to a T junction beside the village green and village shop.
Turn right and then almost immediately turn left up the hill past the church
The school is at the top of this hill on your right.
