CocoonU the on-line ethical luxury brand opened their first shop in Harrogate on Saturday 7th November 2009, in Harrogate’s exclusive Montpellier Quarter.   We are excited and delighted to invite you to a special event celebrating Christmas throughout the Montpellier Quarter.  The event begins at 5 pm on Thursday 10th December – all shops will be open until late and there will be mulled wine, a variety of Christmas stalls, Christmas carols and of course.. Santa himself..

Our cashmere pieces include exquisite, stylish accessories and knitwear for both men and women. CocoonU offer an extensive woven and knitted luxury home range in partnership with George Smith. CocoonU has also expanded its luxury ethical collection and now offers 100% organic, hand-made bath and body range for the whole family.

We would love you to come and have a browse and look at this season’s collection. You will be surprised at how many different ways there are to wear our cashmere shawls, scarves and hats.  Add a stunning piece of ethical jewellery to complete the look.

Christmas shopping with a clear conscience and quality that will last a life time.

Shopping guests should arrive from 7pm and will be able to purchase until 9.30pm. There is a £5 entry fee and you will receive a complimentary glass of fizz on arrival. Organisers will be selling raffle tickets throughout the evening for a draw to take place at 9pm.

Directions from Leeds, Wetherby and Harrogate:

Take the A59 Skipton Road out of Harrogate and continue in the direction of Skipton. Shortly after leaving Harrogate, you will come to a roundabout with the Travellers Rest Pub on the left. Continue straight across. Half a mile past this roundabout take the first turning on the right, signposted Hampsthwaite. (If you miss this turning continue another mile and there is a right turn signposted to Birstwith.)

Continue following signs to Birstwith and after approx. 3 miles you will come to Clapham Green. Immediately after passing a group of houses on the left, and where the road bends right, take a left turn and follow the road round to the right. Shortly you will come to a split in the road and stay to the right. At the T-junction you will see the drive to Swarcliffe Hall (Belmont Grosvenor School) in front of you.

Directions From Ripon:

At the Ripley roundabout take the 3rd exit signposted Pateley Bridge.

Continue on this road until you come to the New Inn pub on your right. Opposite that take a left turn signposted Birstwith.

Follow that road for approx 1.5 miles and you will go through Birstwith village and eventually come to a T junction beside the village green and village shop.
Turn right and then almost immediately turn left up the hill past the church
The school is at the top of this hill on your right.
