Already an ardent fan of the shampoo bars, so therefore familiar with the heavenly scents of the range, I am now in happy possession of several shampoos and conditioners and a thick and shining head of hair.  Over two weeks of use hair life has returned, my scalp is happy and calm and outgoings reduced as due to fabulous condition, can skip my next haircut for a quick fringe trim. Bliss.

Products tried so far are the 100% Organic Nettle and Lime , Chamomile Rose and Honey and Rosemary and Lavender shampoo and conditioner, used together or mixed and matched.

First the shampoos are of a rich, moisturising consistency that makes hair squeak with cleanliness (ditto shampoo bars).  The smell of all the range is out of this world, but my current favourite is Nettle and Lime. Citrus is renowned as an uplifting oil, guaranteed to bring a positive glow to an early morning and this product is truly heavenly, the smell lingering on your hair all day.  Chamomile and Rose is fantastically soothing on scalp and dry ends and the Rosemary and Lavender brings herbaceous invigoration to a fuzzy morning head. As adults most of us relish bath time as a chance to unwind (I will avoid the temptation to chatter about our fabulous bath and shower gels – for the moment!), taking as long as possible and risking the prune like appearance of over-soaking in order to escape from every day stresses. We have had some great comments from male CocoonU-ites recently and thought we would share them with you.  If you think cleansing, moisturising and exfoliating (all-in-one with the loofah soap) is still the sole domain of the ladies, read on….

Exfoliating definitely exists in the male vocabulary these days, but exerting time and effort finding the right product and having an additional task to add to the morning shower ritual is another matter.  Problem solved; soften skin while you soap with this magical bar.  Both soaps have heavenly uplifting fragrances, but the lemon/honey is particularly popular with the men for its awakening aroma, which really livens the senses first thing and gives a great start to the day.

An unexpected additional winning bonus, comes in the form of large numbers of points gained with the ladies around the desirability of a man who takes care of himself!  The stealthy woman will take a peek around a mans’ bathroom in the early stages of courtship (if you didn’t know that, the secret is now out..).  Upon sight of  products indicating an interest in looking after himself and his bod, she will be happy indeed.  In the case of the loofah soap, she can use it too.  Happy days.

I am so glad I did!  The most striking feature of this product is the absolutely heavenly aroma.   Tuned essential oil senses will be able to pick out the individual fragrance of each of the three main ingredients and together they form the most beautiful scent, that is also long lasting.  Late for an assignment last week and with hair not properly dried, I arrived to find the heating had broken down with only a fan heater for warmth.  A quick blast (at a safe distance..) from the heater on my hair to render me presentable (note: not to be tried at home.. but the same effect can be achieved with a hair dryer!) had the unexpected effect of filling the whole room with the divine smell of chamomile, roses and honey, blended to perfection… provoking subsequent questions on the source of this touch of heaven in the air.  Vanessa was deeply impressed, but would like to say this is over and above the expectations of product promotion!

Soft, moisturised hair also resulted from my shampoo bar experimentation. I definitely need to explore the whole range…
